Day One

Well, I’m back.

Over the last few months I planned a wedding and then, as of May 4, 2019, I became a married woman.

So it’s been a bit busy here.  Between working excessive amounts of overtime and making one million decisions, I haven’t been able to do much writing.

But that’s okay.  I’m back.  For now.

In the aftermath of the wedding and being gone for a week, I weighed in this afternoon at 143.2.

One hundred, forty-three point two pounds.

That’s crap.  lol.  Given that my lowest weight was 129, the 143 is unacceptable.  I’ve got a cruise coming up in July and I’m going to be wearing a bikini with board shorts and generally showing off.  I’m going to wear cute sun dresses and generally be the hottest woman in the vicinity.

There are 70 days until the cruise.  My goal is to get back down to 130.  It’s basically that simple.

My plan is to eat 1,300 calories per day and figure out a workout plan that involves both running and weight lifting.  Will be doing an upper and lower split, running every other day and then having a rest day once a week.

Today I got my diet in check by counting all of my calories (even included some chocolate!) and figured out my meal plan for next week.  Tomorrow before work I’m going to go for a mile and a half run (even if that means walking for a tiny bit of it) and then sometime during work I’m going to put together a workout for arms on Monday (and then go to the gym to actually do it).

The other thing I’m going to do is write in this blog every day (or at least every other day) so that I can have a log of the steps I’ve taken and the progress I’ve made.

I’m going to write out my run times, post my workouts and keep track of my weekly weigh-ins.

So that’s it.  DAY ONE!!
